Fast electrical tuning bandpass and notch filters

AMS manufactures fast tunable filters from HF to UHF frequency bands. These filter units can form either bandstop or bandpass functionalities. The tuning can be of analog or digital type according to the customer needs. The 3dB bandwidth can be as low as 7%. Typical octave tuning bandwidths can be accomplished. Using special electromagnetic codes AMS can produce filters with zero post-tuning procedures.

Telecommunication systems.

The notch filters have a hopping speed capability of  better than 50usec and rejection of at least 35dB at a 100KHz  around the central freq., while the -10dB range is only 7%. They cover the range 1-500 MHz (at least one octave per filter type).

The bandpass filters have a hopping speed capability of  better than 50usec and rejection of at least 35dB at a 20MHz  around the central freq., while the -1dB range is only 7%. They cover the range 1-500 MHz (at least one octave per filter type).

Typical Insertion Loss for both types: 2dB

Upper Power Handling Capability: 10dBm for low power types or 32dBm for high power types.
